Your Pet’s Visit with Our Holistic Veterinary Team

A primary care visit with our holistic veterinarian is perfect for pet’s who need an annual check-up or those suffering from a non-emergency illness.

These visits begin with a gentle, thorough physical exam—just as it would at any traditional veterinary clinic. This first step helps us understand your pet’s overall health and guides the diagnostic process. From there, we design a personalized plan rooted in a holistic, whole-body approach—whether the goal is to maintain wellness or provide targeted support to restore balance and vitality.

Our practice offers a wide range of diagnostic tools. These include standard tests such as blood work and urinalysis to assess essential functions, as well as advanced options that can provide deeper insight. Specialized panels may evaluate cancer markers, inflammation, nutrient deficiencies, chronic gastrointestinal concerns, or food sensitivities. We also provide vaccine titer testing, empowering you to make informed choices about your pet’s care. In some cases, innovative tools such as thermography may be recommended to evaluate blood flow and inflammation.

These comprehensive evaluations are especially valuable for pet owners seeking second—or even third—opinions, offering an unbiased and integrative medical perspective for your beloved companion.

Please note that we do not provide vaccines, radiographs, or surgical procedures. If your pet requires these services, we will gladly connect you with a trusted colleague to ensure seamless, well-rounded care.

FAQs

A full physical exam and thorough review of diet, exercise, mental health and past history are part of a visit. Recommendations will be made for your pet’s well being.

Absolutely! We love working alongside with our colleagues in a team appraoch to health and wellness for your pet.

How are you different from a conventional veterinary practice?

At Naturopawthic Veterinary Wellness, in Red Bank, NJ, we are a combination of holistic and conventional practices. We offer most services available at a typical GP office. Do you offer annual blood work including the test that checks for heartworm and tick borne diseases?

Yes, we do recommend and run annual blood work for patients under the age of 7 and biannual for patients older than 7. We also offer more specialized blood tests as well.
