Defining Grief

Fall is the time of year associated with the Metal Element in Traditional Chinese Medicine. Every element is associated with organ systems, emotions, colors, sounds… the list goes on. The Lungs and Large Intestine make up the Metal Element. The emotions associated with the Lungs (and Large intestine) are grief and sadness. Grief is something that we all have to process at some point in our lives. Often it comes with the loss of a loved one be it a pet or relative, as well as the loss of a job, a pandemic even.

Join me as we explore the elements and organs associated with grief and how we can help ourselves as well as our pets process this emotion. Learn about teas you can make at home to soothe your soul and nourish your body as well as some breath work and some book recommendations.

Thank you for being courageous and vulnerable...

By signing up for Herbs for Grief, we hope your grief is able to grow into praise when you further explore all the ways to process it.
